Grant Development & Compliance

The Harris County Precinct 2 Grants and Nonprofits Division provides Precinct 2 departments with assistance in fundraising and grant identification, application preparation and support, program development, grant management, and compliance oversight.  By consistently monitoring available grant opportunities and resources at the local, state, and federal levels, we identify opportunities that align and support Precinct 2 programs. 

Our Mission

Harris County Precinct 2 Grants and Nonprofits Division works diligently to support Precinct 2 families by building partnerships and developing resources that support multi-generational programs that engage, educate and empower residents of Precinct 2. 

Our Vision

The Grants and Nonprofits Division is responsible for expanding the capacity of Precinct 2 programming and services by securing additional resources through government and foundation grants, corporate and private donations, and special events sponsorships. This division oversees all activities of the affiliated nonprofit Precinct2gether, which acts as a sort of “Friends of Precinct 2”.
