Meal Programs

Harris County Precinct 2 offers two senior meal programs.

Homebound Senior Meal Program- A hot meal delivered Monday through Friday (Excluding county holidays) for senior citizens who are considered homebound due to limited mobility, frailty and/or physical or mental impairments.
Congregate Senior Meal Program- A hot meal for senior citizens age 60+ Monday thru Friday dispensed at one of four participating Community Center in Precinct 2

Homebound Senior Meal Program:

Precinct 2 Food Services provides meals for those senior citizens who are unable to attend our community centers. Staff members deliver to 200+ senior citizens who are considered homebound due to limited mobility, frailty and/or physical or mental impairments. Each of these staff members deliver to the same homes every day and work to build a bond with each senior that they serve.

Congregate Senior Meal Program:

Our Congregate meal program provides hot meals for senior citizens age 60+ Monday thru Friday dispensing those meals at four participating Community Centers in Precinct 2.

Currently both meal programs are at capacity an have a waitlist to join. We encourage any interested parties to call our Precinct 2 Call Center at 713-274-2222 or fill out the interest form below to join our waitlist.
